This week in English we came to the end of our unit on 'The Wolves in the Walls'. The children had to use all the skills we looked at during this unit to come up with their own version of the story. We had a variety of stories with the children using bears, rats or snakes to come out of the walls!
In Maths, we looked at fractions! We started the week by looking at what fractions make a whole. We then moved on to adding and subtracting fractions! When doing this we made sure we could prove our answers by drawing bar diagrams explain our answers. By the end of the week we were comparing and ordering fractions using < > and =.
In Science, we continued looking at skeletons. We looked at the common names for bones and then looked at the scientific names for bones. We then labelled our own skeleton with the scientific names for bones and then made our own skeleton made out of card!
In RE, we continued to look at the miracles Jesus performed and if we believed they could have happened. We also discussed if there was a miracle we would want Jesus to perform today what would it be.
