This week we have had a SIAMS (Statutory Inspection for Anglican and Methodist Schools) inspection. This is an inspection for church schools which is similar to Ofsted but focusses on the effect that the Christian ethos of the church school has on the children who attend it. We still have Ofsted inspections, we are awaiting our first inspection as Southbroom St James Academy. The results of this week’s inspection will be published in a couple of weeks and I will send it home to you all. However I wanted to take this opportunity to thank all the parents, community members, and staff who contributed towards the inspection and supported this fantastic school. A special thanks and well done must go to all the children who were amazing; especially those who spoke with the inspector about our school. Thank you to everyone!
