A QUICK REMINDER
Please remember that on Monday 6th November, Dickens Class will be visiting Warleigh Lodge Farm as part of our science learning.
You will need to wear wellies and old trousers that you don't mind getting dirty! Please ensure that you are wearing your school jumper and have a packed lunch with you. YOU MUST BRING A COAT PLEASE AS WE WILL BE OUTSIDE FOR THE MAJORITY OF THE DAY!
See you Monday
What a brilliant first week back after half term (We hope you had a fun and relaxing week!)
This week we met our new class teacher Miss Maidment who will be teaching us on a Thursday and Friday as well as being our new assistant head teacher and SENCO.
In English this week we have been looking at recount writing and using the past tense in our writing. In maths we have been working on multiplication using written methods.
REMEMBER TO KEEP PRACTICING THOSE TIMES TABLES!
We have continued to explore the Ancient Greeks as part of our topic learning in the afternoons and will do so up until the Christmas Break.
Welcome to Dickens Class Year 4
Wow! Where did the summer holidays go? Miss Harris will be returning from maternity leave to teach Dickens class on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. Mr Bailey will then teach on a Thursday and Friday.
Our first topic is Ancient Greece. We will be exploring major developments during this period of time, as well as exploring Greek myths and legends.
P.E this term will be taught on a Tuesday and Thursday so please ensure you have appropriate PE kit in school for both of these sessions.
We look forward to seeing you back in school bright and early on Monday morning!
